Snowden Flood, London 2012
Artist-designer dispatches these charming tree glasses, plus ceramics and more, from a studio by the river.
I was asked by Dieneke Ferguson of Hidden Art to photograph London designers to submit for a photography exhibition called Vision for London at Europe House. The exhibition was to highlight organisations that had received funding through the European Regional Development Fund.
The picture needed to reflect a London design enterprise in any way the photographer thought fit. I knew Snowden did exquisite work adjacent to a stunning view, and we spent a bit of time working on this shot. We were thrilled that the photograph was selected for exhibition from the many submitted. We also photographed Nick Fraser (61) as part of the same exercise. These are probably the most "posed" photographs I have taken for this series.
