Barbara writes:
Plotted on a computer and then assembled from sheets of polycarbonate, David
Trubridge's Icarus light has a spiny, armadillo feel.
David was a naval architecture and the designer maker of high quality furniture in Britain, before settling in New Zealand with his family, after a round-the-world boat trip.
This piece was on view in a darkened room at Superstudio Piu in Zona Tortona
in Milan 2010.
